Have you ever asked yourself the greatest philosophical question to life - am I really free? I am sure that that is a question that goes through every chicken’s mind when they go through their single lifetime of being stuffed in a cage till their feathers poof out; pecking at the sand for scraps of corn; and frolicking among other like-minded chickens, sharing the same brain cell of “What is life? - Corn!”; until finally they are led into what appears to be a fun maze, only to end up in a bloody, messy slaughter. If the chickens cannot avoid this timeline, then are they really free range? Freedom is based on three principles: 1. Absence of human coercion or restraint. 2. Absence of circumstantial constraints. 3. Possession of the power to achieve one's own objective. Thus why not put a weapon in a chicken’s hand? Excuse me - I meant feathers...
